ABOUT KING VILLE

ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

KingsVille Schools came into being in September 1998 in Lagos and in 2002 in Abuja as primary schools. It upgraded into a secondary school in September 2004 in a rented quarter in Gwarinpa as a day/boarding school. We had our first stint with the West Africa Examination Council in 2006 during which we recorded about 70% success.
To us as managers of the school, 70% was a bad result and so we decided that ‘affliction shall not rise again’. The following year witnessed a little improvement when we recorded about 79%. Since that year, our story has changed to a success rate of between 96% and 100%. The last seven years have witnessed a tremendous output of about 100%. We give all glory to God Almighty.
Today, we have put in place a total all-inclusive system to inculcate high standard of Education and moral into these young leaders of tomorrow right from primary through secondary school to advanced level. We have the following schools:
  • I. Nursery/Primary (Lagos and Abuja)
  • II. Secondary School (Abuja only)
  • III. Cambridge Advanced Level (Abuja only)

SCHOOL HISTORY

Education is a legacy highly valued by many people in the world today to the extent that people can sell their property to ensure that their children have education. It is not merely being educated that matters but the quality of education one has. It is in the pursuit of this objective of quality in education that the idea of a school that can fill this gap within the Egbeda/Akowonjo axis of Lagos was muted.

A group of dynamic men and women came together as directors of the organization and in September 1998, Kingsville Nursery & Primary School, Egbeda, Lagos, commenced operation. The school opened with about thirty pupils in both the primary and the nursery sections with six teaching staff and two non-teaching staff. This number quickly rose to eight teaching staff within two months of resumption.

The idea of delivering the good was a major factor in ensuring a teacher to each class even when the number of pupils was not more than four. We gradually overcame this as the student population rose. Currently, the school has all the arms both in the nursery and primary.

And in September, 2002, KINGSVILLE Nursery and Primary School, Abuja came into being. Located in Gwarinpa, a new town over-viewing Abuja, the school has gradually grown to become a household name. The school was staffed with highly qualified teachers with the head holding a masters degree in children development.

OBJECTIVE
Our target is to be second to none in Abuja and its environ. The school has set a standard both in academic and social worlds which could be difficult to beat. We maintained continuity in our work by ensuring that the teachers are not changed like skirts as in some schools.
